About Me
Kelvin Ventura is a visual storyteller with experience in filmmaking, management, and mentoring.
Ventura filmed and edited a promotional video for the new minor Spanish-Language Media Creation for the Modern Language Department at SUNY Old Westbury. He is currently working on a short documentary, Between Borders, Dangers, and Dreams, sharing the obstacles he faced on his solo journey at the age of twelve from El Salvador to the United States. It is a personal story of struggles and triumph.
Ventura, a double major in Media & Communications, and Hispanic Literature & Culture, will graduate from SUNY Old Westbury in 2026. At the University, he is also earning a microcredential in Advanced TV/Video Production and interning at the Media Innovation Center.

Kelvin Ventura es un narrador visual con experiencia en realización cinematográfica, gestión y tutoría.

Ventura filmó y editó un video promocional para el nuevo minor Spanish-Language Media Creation para el Departamento de Lenguas Modernas de SUNY Old Westbury. Actualmente trabaja en un cortometraje documental, Entre fronteras, peligros y sueños, comparte los obstáculos que enfrentó en su viaje en solitario, a los doce años, de El Salvador a Estados Unidos. Es una historia personal de luchas y triunfos.
Ventura, quien cursa una doble especialización en Medios y Comunicaciones, y Literatura y Cultura Hispana, se graduará de SUNY Old Westbury en 2026. En la Universidad, también está obteniendo una microcredencial en Producción Avanzada de TV/Video y realizando prácticas en el Centro de Innovación en Medios.
